I am a PhD student at the Centre for Speech Technology Research (CSTR) at the University of Edinburgh. My research focuses on the transferability of human language acquisition patterns to speech representation systems and Spoken Language Models (SLMs), and I am supervised by Peter Bell and Ondrej Klejch.

Previously, I was a part of the Speech Recognition group at Aalto University in Helsinki, Finland, where I worked on curriculum learning for speech recognition with Mikko Kurimo and Tamás Grósz.

Besides Speech Recognition, my CS interests include the development of local-only/privacy-preserving smart home systems. I am always open to collaborate on new topics, so feel free to reach out!
